Lavigne

Yesterday's taxi journey was a depressing ordeal. With Lavigne's cage on my lap, I kept on calling her name, hoping to see her tilting her head up like she always does. But she didn't. The minute we stepped out of our house, she hid herself in her cosy house, and not even her favorite long beans could attract her attention. It's like she knew she's going to be separated from us for a couple of days.

Dreaded leaving Lavigne out of my sight, I stayed on to chat with her nanny for a while.

After my Jack & Jill movie with Redbull, I went home looking at the empty spot where Lavigne was placed. Not calling her name whenever I pass by that special spot, not hearing her squeaking whenever I open the fridge, everything seems so out of place.

Many may think I'm purely overreacting & I can only say you guys don't understand how important she is to me. Guinea pigs are really sensitive animals & they tense up easily too. Stress can be a cause of their death & a change of environment instills stress in them. Though this is the 2nd time she's at her nanny's, I just don't feel at ease. God, bless her.
