HK: Day 3

Itinerary for day 3 was The Peak.

Just as the name suggests, The Peak Tower stands at 428m above sea level. I was really hyped up about going onto the tram which will eventually brings us up to the PEAK!

Being in the tram to the peak felt so different from being in a cable car that overlooks the magnificent views of any vibrant city. The former, with its comfortable speed, takes you up to the highest point from the ground level, allowing you to immerse in the pleasure of going higher every passing second. Whereas the latter's journey starts from the highest point itself.

Travelled from the ground level to this height! A breath-taking sight indeed.

Didn't give much thought on the coldness till we came out of The Peak's Tower in search of a nice cafe for lunch. Freezing.

Plate-licking-good curry that Redbull said would have tasted better if they cooked the chicken together with the curry itself instead of using fried chicken. What a chef huh?

This seafood baked rice is the most delicious baked rice I've ever had. They use fried rice! Imagine the fragrance of the fried rice topped with cheese~

In a cold weather like this, a cup of hot chocolate is the most suitable companion.

Up next was Madame Tussauds Wax Museum.

My favorite! Its wax figure is enough to leave me contented.

After

Redbull then went on to do this on other wax figures.

We went into their dressing room and as usual did the silliest things.

Can this pass off as mineral water advertisement?

Then the placing of royal hats on the prominent wax figures began. HAHAHA!

Looks like they are long time buddies.

I think Einstein's wax figure looks the most realistic.

This bad news hit me the most! This bad news hit me the most!

But My Donnie Yen made up for it by displaying his martial art skills.

Yao Ming is incredibly tall!

Went to Mong Kok, hoping to find streets & streets of roadside food stalls. We happened to chance upon a random Jap Restaurant & Redbull suggested to dine here for a start of our night feasting. When I was concentrating on the sushi plates that were passing before me, Redbull said he chose to dine here cause of my liking for Jap food. Awww~

Mini cafe. Their really bland soya milk was a letdown.

Thank God their fried you tiao & sesame ball are good.

Redbull was craving for the claypot rice & oyster omelette near our hotel so we went back.

Last night in HK. Spent our night at hotel watching Titantic.

Being with him, even the wax figures at the museum came to life.
