For my family, every year's April Fools is all about my sister because her birthday falls exactly on April Fools Day. This year's celebration was more memorable because it was our virgin family outing to the Zoo! There's an air of doubt as to whether it was the first time we went to the Zoo because my mummy said we had been there ages ago when my siblings & I were still young. We had no recollection of it so lets just say 1 April 2012 was our FIRST trip to the Zoo as a family! Supposedly, Redbull was joining us but sadly, his grandma was hospitalized.

We were greeted by these giraffes the moment we alighted from the bus.

It seems to us that this white tiger is a robot because it walks to&fro, to&fro in the same momentum & direction.  It stopped at that exact same spot every single time before turning back to the exact same spot where it came from. We were like watching a video on replay mode. 

Licking an ice-cream on a scorching hot day is a booster. 

Attracted by the cute elephants.

This smallest elephant was sticking its trunk into a tiny hole throughout the entire 15 mins when we were watching them. My sister said that is the source of its drinking water. True? 

This gorilla looks so pitiful here, as if it was so deprived of energy that even moving an inch is impossible. Hope she/he was just feeling lethargic, not unwell. 

Ah Meng Restaurant. Shared mexican drumlets & cocktail sausages with my siblings while my parents were indulging in the fragrance of their chicken rice & laksa. 

They remind me of Alvin & the Chipmunks.

Our last stop was The Kids World & my sister looks just like a kid here! 

Giant rabbits which look cute but I still prefer the normal sized rabbits. 

Going with the birthday girl's idea, dinner was settled at Swensens which Redbull joined us.

Cake-cutting session has already became the norm in my family, regardless of who & age. I still remember it was just last year when Redbull & I went down to Bugis to get Lavigne (our guniea pig) for my sis's 15th birthday. Only one year has passed & Lavigne is a part of our family now. 

My sister may be temperamental & stubborn at times, but the way she always says the sweetest & genuine words has made me teared on several occassions when I recalled her words/texts.
I don't wish for you to be the best because I accept you for who you are, all I wish is for you to have a positive mindset at all times. As no matter what happens, I can swear  that I(we) will be here to contain your laughter & share your tears.  Remember, don't underestimate what you're capable of, especially study wise. Not everyone is born a genius, but always believe that hard work will pay off. What you think affect everything & everyone around you, so think positive, my dearest sis. I love you so much that no words can justify & no one can fathom.
