Sunday Brunch

Little Part 1 Cafe at Jasmine Rd. Came across this cafe on sixpeg's blog. Like her, I love cosy hidden places too so Redbull made a reservation for us on Sunday. This cafe is one of the shop-houses that is tucked in the neighbourhood of rows and rows of terrace houses.

Reason why I love cosy eating places is because they make me feel at ease. It's like when I'm there, not only do I get to satisfy my taste bud, I get to laugh as much as I want because people there will not take a second glance at me because like me, they are occupied with their own enjoyment. This cafe offers a corner for bookworms who are in for some quiet reads.

Never eat more than you need. And if you want to, make sure you finish all. Shame to say that we didn't abide to this rule that day
because,

we ordered too much for 2.
(Buffalo wings.)
Redbull kept emphasizing that this ain't the 'traditional' buffalo wings because the 'traditional' ones should be drumlets. I know what he said is true but still, I don't grasp this contradicting naming; buffalo WINGS = DRUMLETS? Shouldn't it be buffalo drumlets instead? Confusion.

Curried fries! Though the curry powder tastes exactly like the curry instant noodles's seasoning, I love it! Redbull doesn't like fries to be prepared in this manner, but he didn't mention anything when I ordered it, he only mentioned it when I asked him why he wasn't eating. Obviously half of the fries were left to waste because I couldn't finish it all by myself, all by myselffff~~~

His fish&chips. I've never liked dory fish = no fish&chips for me. Redbull said it's nice and he fed me one mouthful. Conclusion? I still don't like dory fish.

The crispy chicken salad that came last (appetizers should always be served first right?). The chicken isn't crispy & tasty. But I love the shoyu dressing, goes perfectly well with the tuna.

A meal isn't complete without dessert.
Mud-pie with vanilla ice-cream. THUMBS AND TOES UP!

We spent our time eating, enjoying the cosy atmosphere, laughing like no one's watching (but I'm pretty sure I/we startled the male waiter several times with my laughter that echoes and probably when he saw Redbull and I trying to suffocate each other. HAHAHA). Times like these are heavenly, without any intrusion/interference, with the time ticking by belonging solely to us.

Have I mentioned how the telepathy between the both of us is so magical/mysterious it scares me sometimes? *goosebumps* I've never ever experienced such telepathy with anyone before till he/we brought me into contact with this magical thing. I think he's a wizard in disguise who tied a knot from his heart to my heart & mind, otherwise how else is he supposed to know what's going through my mind when I don't even breathe a single word to him? When he suggested for a walk in the neighbourhood mini shopping mall that is just behind the cafe, that was just one super small example of what I meant by telepathy.
There was basically nothing fanciful in the mall, nothing that could possibly catch our attention, but we walked around aimlessly, fingers locked, and talked about everything. We even talked about the kidnapped incidents of 2 young girls. Yeah, there's nothing we don't talk about.

Best thing about my lover? He's my best friend.
