Bro's Graduation Fashion Runway: 28 May 2014

Work has occupied my weekdays and weekends are meant for time away from the screen. It's agonizing enough for my eyes to be facing the desktop at work from 9-6 on Mon-Fri. But this graduation fashion ceremony of my bro has never left my mind and I'll definitely have to share it with everyone (if there is in fact anyone) who is a reader of my humble space. The air of pride still surrounds me now whenever I get reminded of my bro's talent. I pray with all my heart that he'll be at his healthiest. Same for my family and my love ones.
The memorable part wasn't my virgin trip to a fashion show, it was being able to be present to witness my brother's work piece being showcased on the runway. I wasn't bewildered by the gush of emotions which transformed to tears the moment I saw the first model walked out wearing That Dress. I had expected my tears to be triggered by the immense pride, let alone how easily my tear glands can be triggered.

His model was specially arranged to be the first to walk out and last to walk back. Now I understand why do people say the opening and closing are the two main highlights. No, I ain't prejudiced, I always do think that there's an underlying reason behind all the walking arrangements at fashion shows. Anyway, the calligraphy strokes drawn by my bro are that of a female silhouette.

Second moment of pride accompanied with tears: when he came out & waved. YES, WAVED. HOW ADORABLE IS THAT? He was the only one who waved cause his friends had said to do it together but my bro was the only one who kept to his promise. Man of his words *chest bump, that's my bro*

AND LOOK, he was standing in the MIDDLE.
*smirks*

Backstage scene.

Only those who are close to me have witnessed how proud I am to have a talented brother like him whenever conversations about him arise. No, I can't draw like him, the best I can do is a stickman with clothes. He can't eat or drink anything piping (or just) hot like me. He's an owl while I'm the early bird. We're nowhere similar but it's all these differences that make me love him genuinely for who he is.

Bro had to head back to his school to put down his stuffs and we went for dinner at Sushi Tei without him.

Moments I wish to replay over and over again yet not fearing I'd get sick of it.
I can't wait to talk about my brother's 19th birthday yesterday, not because we had any fanciful celebration but because the laughter we shared over hilarious photos we took!

Because my bro doesn't have any thing on his current To-Want-List, so we didn't manage to buy a present for him this year. We'd wait till he desires something in the future. Anyway, my siz & I headed to Star Vista to get Nene Chicken before getting sushi from JP. We had a tough time locating Nene Chicken which is tucked away in the corner. We wanted to buy a mixture of 2 flavors but they don't have this kinda combo meal, all they offer is each type of chicken for 3-4 pax. Waiting time is around 10-15 minutes but it's all worth it as the chicken is only fried upon you ordering so be assured your chicken is piping hot.

Here comes the hilarious photo-bombs!
My siz came up with this wuliao suggestion to act as if it was our birthdays instead of his. It definitely turned out to be way funnier than it sounded! Especially how we appeared so hyped up & the birthday boy was totally being neglected & left out!

LIKE THIS ONE!
Bro trying his best not to laugh.

HAHAHA! Imagine if this was real, that the birthday boy was really being left out & hid in the corner of every photos. Quite pathetic but I'm still laughing while typing out this post!

Even Heroine joined in cause it's too addictive!

Of course there're the proper & 'normal' photos.
Ok, maybe my siz doesn't really look normal in this photo!

PHOTO OF THE DAY!
This picture doesn't quite justify what I'm about to say cause it's blurry. Anyway, look at the area close to my bro's mouth. The pinky thingy are actually obvious heart shapes & there's a total of 5 heart shapes which resembles the number of members in this family! What a heartwarming coincidence or I'd called lovely paranormal activity HAHA!

The brimming pride I have in you whenever topics about your designing & drawing talents arise. Only brother I've and am blessed to have. It always amazes me how the differences between the three of us will never drift us apart but only to draw us nearer to each other.
