I was an unpaid chef on Good Friday, at Wang Dae Bak, BBQ-ing the meat for the carnivores. Having Redbull feeding me a few mouths of the luncheon meat stew and 1-2 pieces of meat, I sat there concentrating on the task of being an unpaid chef. On a tight budget and with a filled stomach, I had to curb on my weekends spending. Nonetheless, I didn't choose to wallow in self-pity and instead I was happily cooking the meat for them.

Had 2 bowls of the soup and this big bowl of heaven is worth every cent of $35. The portion is definitely sufficient for sharing. It turned out to be more than enough for the 5 of them, 6 if you ask me, with Redbull having the appetite for 2.

Wanted to do an 'oscar selfie' but ended up with Redbull approaching someone to take this shot for us.
Afterwards, guess what? My fav place for waffles! CREAMIER. This time round, I chose orange with (another fruit) mixed with vodka ice-cream. My preference for alcoholic ice-cream has never failed me once. No thanks for the usual classic flavors like choc or vanilla or strawberry. Again, the waffles I'm addicted to~

Burning off calories session the next morning with these kakis.
Good Friday, as the name suggests, was a good day indeed. After the dip in the pool, we went for our dinner at Dian Xiao Er where my favorite duck is. We booked tickets for G.I Joe which was 2 hours away after we finished our dinner so we roamed around the mall and spent the rest of the waiting time at the arcade.

DWAYNE JOHNSON! Been mesmerized by him since I was in secondary school. I even stayed up late to watch WWF just because of him and you know staying up late at that age and generation was a real big deal? Well, at least it was a big deal for me. He was the reason why I collected those WWF cards too!

Ok fan girl mode switched off. G.I Joe Retaliation is an awesome action movie with all the strategic fightings involved!

Saturday
Initially, we planned to head to Moojaa for my thai BBQ craving BUT there was a 3 hour mass at 8PM so of course the dinner plan couldn't go according to plan. Well, the dinner plan was well substituted with the long anticipated trip to Carpenter & Cook.

I tried the highly raved & tempting passion fruit tart which was close to perfection.

And lucky us got our hands on the last sliced of caramel walnut cheesecake!

Redbull's warm & moist chocolate muffin.

Their interior fittings are what I'd love to have in our future house! Unique and rustic. Given the proximity of this cafe, we're finding ourselves coming back here pretty often.

Later on at night at the church where I was frozen hence we sat outside the church most of the time and I proudly declared I'm the survival of the long 3 hour mass. *SALUTE*

On Sunday, we gathered at his grandparents' house for an Easter celebration.
