Saturday night was supposedly a night out with Redbull but he got a call from his friend saying that they're meeting for a birthday dinner. After the dinner, we didn't join the rest for the bowling session, instead we went Jcube to catch Ghost Child. To those who raved about this movie, either you lied or you are easily shaken by scary movies. Way too draggy. I guess I should give up trying to anticipate for a good ghostly movie.
Sunday was packed with simple activities. We attended the morning mass before heading to Timah market for brunch. I had my favorite 叉烧云吞面 which even Redbull agreed to my sentiment of the succulent 叉烧 and juicy 云吞. Dropped by his grandparents' house for a little while to pamper her with her favorite 羊肉汤.
Then, off to Ikea at Alexandra Road. Our reason for heading down was to check out the sale prices for the furnitures so we can do comparisons with other furniture shops in the future. Well, found a few pieces of furnitures which will fit in the minimalist theme of our future living room.
Still, I think most probably we're going to get our furnishings shopping trip done at our neighbouring country, M'sia.
Don't know if it's just us who felt this way but do Ikea's meatballs taste different now after the suspected horse meat incident? Not complaining though, I like the current meatballs because it's less saltier. AND, the apple pie - BOO!
