From what I understand, mid-autumn festival is the asian Thanksgiving, but aside from appreciating the fundamental concepts of family gatherings and prayings, who can neglect the importance of delicacies: mooncakes. Be it the traditional ones or the contemporary ones, I've equal liking for both.

Ginseng Bamboo Charcoal. The ginseng smell isn't overwhelming, rather the hint of its slight taste brings another level of fragrance to this otherwise ordinary mooncake.
Red Yeast Longan. Loving the pungent taste of the longan.
