Real Food. I've been seeing the tempting pictures on instagram posted by my goddess from a long time ago and I told Redbull & my siz I've to try it personally (also, in the hope of bumping into my goddess which I did not).

Made a trip to this organic food cafe with another food lover like me, my siz.

It was empty when we just reached but the crowd started making their way in during lunch time. There was a few tables occupied by lone rangers so who is to say you can't have a meal all by yourself? What matters is you've to enjoy your own company before making someone else enjoy your company right?

Avocado & coconut smoothie which could have been better if it was in a thicker form.

Aglio Olio

Pumpkin pancake, THUMBS UP

My organic baked rice which was too big a portion.

Wanted to have our desserts at Cake Spade but the office lunch crowd beat us to it. We never understand how the office mates can afford to sit down and chill over desserts after their meals. 2 hours lunch time perhaps? Whichever company that offers 2 hours lunch break is very generous with their employees' incentives.

Strolled aimlessly in hope of finding a decent place for desserts but we failed terribly under the scorching sun along with our aching feet.

Anyway, Soup Spoon serves the WORSE carrot cake ever. WORSE. Tough like rock and tasted like some hand soap. Even this humble halal HK dessert place isn't as disappointing.

Chocolate fondue at Jan's house last night. Patiently waiting for the small flame to melt the cadbury nuts chocolate while we kept our eyes glued to a taiwan variety show.
If chocolate isn't fattening, bet we'd have chocolate fondue every other night.

When can time freeze?
Amongst the never ending changes, there are still that few constants which comfort me whenever I'm worn out from keeping up with all the abrupt changes in life. Like how he'll still go the extra mile just to see me smile. That comforts my fear. The fear of how a guy will cease putting in his heart & effort once he has got the girl playing along to his every single rhythm without even having to lift a finger of his. He's just not the role of the guy I've depicted. He's just not any other guy.

Thank you for coming to my house last night just because I asked if you could have a home-sliced salmon sashimi supper with me after I knocked off. I didn't even have to ask twice. Just once & you acknowledged my wants without any complaint or reluctance.

Ah, too blessed.
I bookmarked quite a list of eating places that I'm intending to try out. Yes, Sg is just a tiny red dot, but there're many delightful surprises around the corners if we know exactly where to venture to. This time round, my siz & I went to Duxton Hill, Flor Patisserie, a cafe which is known for its Japanese pastries & frozen cheese-tarts.

Flor Patisserie is a warm & snuggly cafe which also means it's very petite, only able to accommodate that few modest tables of customers.
Their popular Napoleon was sold out by the time we went, which was around 2pm. Either we were really too late or its Napoleon is really that popular.

These 2 cakes that we had are delicious, but they aren't as unique as we had expected them to be. Guess we were too immersed in our intense imagination of how unique desserts could be. Come to think of it, tasty desserts are satisfying enough, why on earth were we so greedy to be expecting more, right?
 Humans humans *shakes head*

Not a strawberry fan, but these are big & juicy.

As the frozen cheese-tart can only stay unrefrigerated for an hour, my siz bought it for Heroine only after we've finished walking the streets of Chinatown. While roaming, we were surrounded by Thais and their soothing and gentle accents.

Just last Saturday, had my siz to be my companion for the Night Festival.

The alley beside the Peranakan Museum.

Peranakan Museum, the place where we stayed the longest given the fact that it was our first time there and the Peranakan in us were captivated by all the exquisite details on every single object being displayed.

Look at all these pouches & purses! How to contain all the gaspings & exclamations of "Oh my God!"? We couldn't and we didn't!

GIVE US THESE KEBAYAS! NOW!

After leaving the Peranakan Museum in awe, we continued the trailing and found our way to Art Museum. Though it didn't captivate us like the Peranakan Museum did, we had our fair share of fun moments.

At the open field of Fort Canning where the skies appeared too gloomy.

Everyone gathered around to witness the performance of our local illusionists. Apparently, that performance was averred to break the world's record. Think it was the height of 75 feet or something along that line. Just a tinge of breathlessness which lasted only for a brief moment, nonetheless, a live performance like this is memorable indeed.

When you find the clock ticking by too fast, you'll realize that's because of the company.

Friday
Personal opinion: Paradise Dynasty is a better choice to patronise for Asian cuisine as compared to DTF due to the wider variety of dishes.

On the surface, it was a catch up session with my ex-colleagues but actually I just wanted to search for a reason to dine at Paradise Dynasty! Kidding of course. I indulge in the company as much as in the food.
Crab meat flavored XLB, though delicious, doesn't have a hint of the taste of crab meat.

Too occupied with revealing my glutton side that I only managed to snap these two photos of the first two dishes that arrived rather promptly. Their spicy la mian that I ordered was the tastiest bowl of la mian I've had.Another glutton was there to accompany me too! Or perhaps, just to accompany the food.

Saturday
Pasta Inc.

Another authentically good deal on deal.com that we got was $20 worth of pasta inc vouchers at the price of $10. Basically, it's 50% off all food items you can find on the menu! We bought 4 vouchers which covered 1 appetizer seafood platter & 2 main courses of pasta (we had to top up for the dessert).

Redbull's choice of pasta was the centre of attention, overtaking mine. Mine doesn't shine quite as bright as his, but I still enjoyed my salmon carbonara.

2 places off my To-Eat-List.
