Redbull's granny's birthday

Saturday was all about celebrating Redbull's granny's birthday.
@ Granny's place
I love everything about children. Their innocence, their lack of sophistication, their unique ways of getting their simple messages across.
Blindly mistaking Redbull's nephew as niece, I don't blame myself as I looked back at his photos snapped. The silky soft mushroom hairstyle, the cheeky smile. Doesn't he look like a she?
Cruise captured my full attention with his liking for giving a Hi-5, cute 'Yes?' response being heard if you call his name, constant craving for sour plums, etc.

An hour of waiting for everyone's arrival before driving off to a Teochew restaurant located at Raffles CC.
It's an Ala Carte Buffet & I love Buffets, but not this one though. The appearance of the restaurant is deceiving. The food served was below average while their service is nothing near acceptable.
Ditching the dining table, Redbull & I got out of this deceiving restaurant for a moment, bringing Cruise along, hoping to inject more happiness into his day. However, not a playground was in sight. Unlike many children who would scream and make a scene after it dawns on them that a promise made to them was broken, Cruise happily accepted it and was contented just lookng at the koi fishes swimming in the tiny man-made lake.
Cake cutting session is what everyone loves; childlike adults and bouncy children. All the children crowded around granny's cake, planting the candles into the cake, one by one.
Freshly baked fruitty cake.
Wish granny health and happiness.
