Bacon Bacon Bacon, no chance given! Rhyme?

I've always love taking part in lucky draws, especially those whereby everyone sits/stands there, holding their lucky draw tickets, waiting anxiously for their lucky numbers to be called. I don't mind even if I get the smallest prize. This scenario diverts a little from yesterday's. But it's still a lucky draw afterall! Janice & I still chose a lucky red box to slip our paper in. 

Reaching my crib at about 8pm, we only started the fire around 8plus. 

None of us is an expert in setting up the fire. Not to mention the number of times we had our own BBQ, our skills don't seem to improve. My hands even 'earned' themselves a few blisters from fanning the fire with too much strength, so you can imagine how desperately hopeless I was feeling after 3 failed attempts to get the fire started. 

Even this random little kiddo here started to feel restless witnessing the mundane process of us starting the fire. 

Unlike the little boy, when I'm feeling bored, I tend to go hay wire & this was what happened! The obvious sight of the aluminium foil added on this already disturbed sight.

We gave up & there came my mummy to the rescue with this traditional I-don't-know-what-it-is-called. 

Finally, our BBQ officially began at 11pm, nearing supper time!

Bacon wrapped tomato tastes heavenly! Everyone should try it sometime, at least once in your entire lifetime.

This 还珠格格 lookalike mushroom was a substitue for 鲍鱼菇 that we didn't manage to get it. 

Janice pretty but slightly overpriced specs! This girl, *shakes head*~

The sky decided to not have mercy on us when it started pouring. But nothing can deter us from devouring our food after the fact that we had been through so long to get our precious fire started. So to the void deck it is! Familiar sight? I'll leave you to your own imagination. *winks*

But a rude, detestful & unreasonable uncle decided to come & ruined the night. Argh, forget about the drama cause what's passed has past & it'd be dumb for me to dwell over such a living being. 

Under 2 gigantic umbrellas, we walked over to Janice's revamped house after I took my cooling shower. Girly sleepover in her cosy room. A pity WY had to leave but nevertheless I enjoyed such quality & quiet time spent together with them. Late night talks, from the bottom of the heart talks, relationship talks, & those conversations Janice & I had right before we fell into slumber unknowingly. More of such sleepovers again, that's for sure.
