The Apple of My Eye

A true love story playing on the big screen, Apple of my eye, has been a hot topic amongst everyone now. On Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, blogs, I've been seeing countless reviews about this romance movie, & none of it is a negative comment.

Redbull & I finally got to watch it on Wednesday. Ramly burgers that he bought were supposed to be our movie snacks, but we let it slipped out of our minds that we were supposed to hide it in our bag before going in. Of course the lady didn't allow us to bring it in. What a spoiler.

The entire theatre was swarned with audience till the first 2 rows were occupied. The best romance movie I've ever watched. Humorous, touching, not cliche at all unlike many romance movies. The female lead actress isn't exactly the most gorgeous looking girl you've seen, but she's the sweetest girl-next-door every guy would adore to bits. No heavy make up piling up on her face, just natural beauty, that's what I like most about her.

As the story progressed, Redbull & I were captured by the vivid similarities displayed. Except for the ending, it was like we were watching our love life being played right before our eyes. The similarities, only both of us & my bff, Wy, would know. The way the girl is the guy's motivation for achieving great academic results, the way the guy teases her, the way she couldn't understand why he has to organise fights to hurt himself, the words exchanges between the both of them.

Has our love life being enacted into a movie without us knowing, except for the twist in the ending? It's bewitching to know that out there, someone's love story is playing the same melody as ours.
