Redbull & I were just in time for grabbing a really great deal - Christmas buffet at Amara Hotel for just $33.80/pax! Lucky for my quick progression on getting the deal as soon as I saw it, else we would have missed out on such a rare deal.
Saturday evening was our feasting night at Element! Boring bus journey was replaced by entertaining kang xi lai le.

As soon as the waiter came to inform us that we were ready to feast, the first station my eyes glanced to was the dessert station! Haha, a leopard never changes its spots. But of course I didn't start on the desserts first though I really wanted to. I'd be dumb to stuff myself with desserts while forsaking all the main dishes right?!

Tempuras, mussels, soft shell crab & stir-fried mushrooms.

Duck (I didn't knew it's duck meat I was eating until Redbull told me), sweet octopus, chicken with asparagus.

Oyster, crayfish.

Lobster was only served one serving to per person. Truthfully speaking, I don't find the difference between the lobster & crab. Their texture & taste are the same to me.

Lobster totally got his fullest attention.

My favorite dish - cod fish! Had a few rounds of this. The sauce that resembles teriyaki blends in really well with the fish.

There are many other dishes that I didn't snap pictures of - cold crabs, several asian dishes, turkey leg, varieties of huge chunks of cheese, tempting hams, sashimi, sushi.

How I wish my stomach has no boundaries, & in that way, I can devour all the desserts till I'm satisfied.

Redbull "I really don't bear to leave the buffet. Every time I go to a buffet, I don't bear to leave." HAHAHA, DON'T BEAR TO LEAVE!  How can someone be so incredibly cute? A grown up who, at that very moment, became the whiny toddler who reluctantly drags his feet out of Toy'r'us.

Impromptu plan to join Erwin&Co for movie at Cathy. The initial plan to catch Already Famous at 920pm slot failed when most of them weren't even at the meetup place. Instead, they were occupied with filling their stomachs at HK Char Chan Teng. We watched the 1155pm slot only to realise that QB decided not to watch when he was the one who wanted to have dinner in the very first place! Anyway, boring movie with mundane storyline. Compared to The Apple of My Eye, Already Famous's romance part really has to be brushed up.
