14 Feb

Whoever says last minute's plan doesn't go well, I beg to differ. I'm not referring to studies of course because I'm not a person who burns midnight oil at the very last crucial & panicky moment. I'm referring to love dates. On Valentines' Day, Redbull & I didn't plan to meet at all because both of us doesn't regard 14 Feb as a significant day to show love; every passing day is Valentines' Day to us.

At the spur of the moment when his school has finished & my work was over & done with, he suggested for a dinner together. Practically every restaurant is seen with long queues made up of families & couples.  Nowhere fanciful, we just settled at JP’s Dian Xiao Er.

The queuing up time was just sufficient for the both of us to browse through the menu & decide on the dishes that we want. He chose one dish & left the rest to the non-decisive me.

Peking Duck. Heard from Redbull this is their specialty here so of course I chose this! Crispy skin, tender meat with the sauce that goes perfectly well with rice lovers!

This is the prawn omelette that he chose. Priced at $10.80, the huge fresh prawns justified for it.

Dong Po Rou which Redbull didn't take it to his liking. But I thought its taste was quite unique from the rest of the dong po rou I've had.

Our favorite spinach with century egg & salted egg! Compliments from the both of us never ceased, even when we were at my house afterwards.
"Good choice of yours." I even earned a praise from him for choosing this dish.

Not a fan of roses nor teddy bears, just a fan of his.

Simplicity being able to content us is pure happiness. Not everyone can be contented with what they have because finding faults and mistakes are so effortless & so people finds every reason to complain & grumble about what they have, what they are going through. When you find the one who is able to make you smile when you think of him/her even during times that you're alone, hold on to that person. I've found him, I hope everyone finds their meant-to-be-life-partner too & create a belief that fairy tales don't just exist in storybooks.
