HK; Day 1

Stayover at Redbull's house on Sunday before setting off to the airport on Monday afternoon. As usual, my shoulders were entirely spared from carrying my heavy bag because of him.

Taking Tigerairway this time round so wasn't able to have Popeyes before boarding, so we had Mac instead. My usual Mac meal has always been nuggets but this changed ever since Mac doesn't have curry sauce anymore. Without it, even the fries weren't as tasty as before.

Met a really cute and expressive Japanese boy on the plane. He speaks Japanese, mandarin, english & hokkien!

Arrived at Macau International Airport. Asked around for directions to the ferry terminal where we took a ferry to HK. The ferry journey only took approx 1 hour so no time was wasted. The journey wasn't bumpy so a nap to replenish our energy was made possible.

HK, here we come~!

Casa Hotel is a small but cosy & comfortable hotel. The only con is the tiny bathroom that can only fit one person. Its convenient location made us forget about this con though.

There are many street stalls that sell good food just behind our hotel, which is the Temple Street. Claypot rice stall that many locals were queuing up for. Long queue of locals is a sign of good food, so we joined the queue. Even Redbull, who doesn't like claypot rice fell in love with it. Their signature fried oyster omelette has so many fresh oysters we grew sick of it. Imagine us getting sick of eating oysters.

Beef brisket horfun.

Their beef brisket tastes so good we ordered one more plate of it.

Homemade meatballs that look like Pac man.

Wandered around Temple Market with our satisfied stomachs before calling off for a night.
