The Awakening

Movie and dinner date on Saturday.
Queuing up at Shaw, we looked through the movie time slots and realized that almost all of the movies' slots were either selling out fast or sold out. What a cold blanket. Settled for The Awakening because it was the only movie which has an available time slot that was suitable for us. We had an hour plus to spare before the movie so Redbull suggested dining at Canelle which was just beside the tickets selling booths.
I found this wonderful photography app called WEcam! It's a must have for every single soul who loves to experiment with the most funky and awesome photo effects!
His beef stew with toast which was average. It tastes like the ABC soup my mummy cooks at home (maybe because of the potatoes & carrots?). Nice but not extraordinary nice.
My classic carbonara for creamy base pasta lovers like me! I've always and only love creamy base pasta, no tomato base for me.

The Awakening is worth to watch, but only for those who will pay attention from the start of the movie till the end and most importantly, understand it. Because for Redbull, he didn't really get the gist of the movie, maybe he understood a little by picking up clues here & there but he was a lost sheep during some of the scenes.
I WANNA WATCH DARK FLIGHT IN 3D!
Marche for dinner. Ordered the usuals: mexican fried rice (I think this is the name), rosti & my favorite bread & butter pudding. I had a severe gastric/abdominal/whatsoever pain so I didn't really feast on the food. Plus, we were having an argument (and it dampened my mood & appetite) which ended the moment the pain was ceasing.
Sunday was family day with Redbull. After having lunch at Jack's Place, we headed to his grandma's house. A comforting joy to see that she's recovering healthily. Constant company of family really does make a huge difference.
Interacting with the kids time. Ok, for Redbull, it was more of playing, then teasing, then bullying. He never fails to make the boys (sometimes girls) angry at him at the end. Watching them is like watching 2 kids playing. He loves children and they love him too; this is one of the endless reasons why I love him.
The different phases of his childhood. I like the second picture best! Such an innocent and cute face! If I knew him back then, I'd definitely squeeze & pinched his cheeks till he developed a phobia towards me.
We will not be heading out this weekend because I want to do a last intense revision on my SAT before 5 May. A little sacrifice but I believe in prioritizing the right things/people at the right time. The blissful part is he always understands & respects my decisions.
