Don't bet Against People's Happiness

I wasn't amused when my superior at work placed a $1000 bet against my relationship life. No one bets against any one's relationship. Mean & shallow are the two descriptions for people who does that. Who are you to judge the expiry date of my happiness, not to mention you don't even know me, let alone us.
Whenever I start to believe that a person's maturity level will somehow correspond with his/her age, some people just has to prove me otherwise. Sad but true that some people builds their happiness upon someone else's sorrows.
Fyi, not every girl soars after a guy's looks & wealth just like not every guy scrambles after a girl's good looks & figure. We all have a heart for a reason, and that is to bear genuine emotions, aside from the fact that it is the master who pumps our blood to the rest of our body.
