Weekly Mass

Every weekend I attend mass, not out of the wishes of a believer but out of the wishes of a girlfriend. Though I'm neither a believer nor a Catholic, I still have the one favorite priest whose preachings I enjoy listening. This particular priest used to conduct the mass pretty often in the past, but not so in these few months so it was a delight to me when he came yesterday.

Unlike most of the other priests, he doesn't start or revolve his preaching with or around the verses in the bible, he talks solely about life itself which is what captivates me. Humorous and close to (everyone's) reality are the reasons why I find myself thinking back to what he has said.

Complaining was his topic yesterday.

"Complaining is easy but seriously what good does it does to us when we complain?"

"Complaining makes us more annoyed, irritated and resentful."

"Instead of complaining about the problem, why not find the solution?"

So true indeed.

Less complaints, more actions.
