Chatterbox ❤

Thanks to Jan, I finally found a job that offers a flexible working schedule that fits my soon-to-be studying life. On Sunday, I went down to the workplace for a 'trial'. Jan was working on that day too so she being the senior guided me. I must say I love this job so much because anyone who knows me would know that I love children and the workplace being an abacus tuition centre for kids means I get to see & interact with children all day long! Dream came true~ Everything is easy except remembering the kids' names.

After knocking off at 4, we went for brunch at HV's Hatched.

My Popeye's Salute. As the name suggests, the green color vege is spinach. The best thing I like about egg benedict is the before and after you laid your knife on it.

Look at the runny egg yolk eager to ooze out!

Jan's order which I forgot what it's called. It tastes nice, with uncanny resemblance to a baked pasta.

After we finished our dishes, we lingered for quite sometime and after a while I felt bad for sitting there with an empty table so I grabbed the menu, just to see if there's any dessert we would like.

Blueberry pancakes. The piece of pancake that I had was uncooked which I only knew when I asked Jan if the white runny thing is some vanilla filling (I thought the 'filling' was kinda yummy). Turned out that it wasn't any filling, it was the uncooked flour! My fail taste buds.

Finally got our butts out of Hatched and walked around looking for a decent cafe. Stepped into NYDC.

She told me to show her the face which is supposed to look like I have swollen eyes. I showed her the face again, and *snap* she decided that a picture really do speak a thousand words. In this case, the picture just speaks one word, UGLY. Anyway, thanks for zooming in too!

We talked from 4-10PM non-stop, except to stop to take a bite/head to the washroom/take some pictures.
We really are chatterboxes.
