4th Anniversary

You gotta admit that significant cliches are mushily true, like: being with your other half, everyday should be like V's Day. On the 1st of Nov, it's our 4th anniversary and like I've always said (or brag or flaunt), everyday with him is like the first day we held hands; butterflies in the stomach. That's a feeling that I still experience up till today. He still makes me feel like a little girl at times, or rather most of the time. Being all silly & playful with him, it's like the inner child within me has never left, she was simply waiting for the perfect inner boy. I guess that was enough sweet nothings for y'all.
So anyway, no matter how blissful we feel everyday, an anniversary should still hold a significant place in our hearts. I mean some events or days are meant to call for a celebration and anniversary is one of such events. Of course, it was a relatively simple one; just a dinner followed by dessert. But every date of ours is always a precious & unique one on its own.
Dinner at Dallas, right along the stretch of restaurants along the Singapore River. Maybe Dallas is more known as a pub for casual & social drinkers, but it has a second floor specially for diners like us who wants to have a proper dining experience.

The food that we ordered were satisfactory, I especially love the fried calamaris.

No meal is ever complete without desserts so we went to HV's 2AM dessert bar, a place which I've wanted to go since months ago.

I know this picture is totally out of focus, but yeah, this is how the exterior of 2AM bar looks like.

I must say this is my favorite food place so far. The laid back & cosy environment makes me wanna stat there forever. Just look at their couches, they're like sofa beds which allow us to rest our legs on it. Moreover their fusion desserts are weirdly delightful to the taste-bud!

Snickers bar!

I forgot the name of this dessert that I ordered, but it sure is the nicest dessert I've had, or at least it's the one that I love most. Saw the white foam? It's actually lemon. An extremely sour foam I'd say. You know when you eat something really sour, the sides of your jaws start to ache in a sore manner? Yeah, every tiny scoop of this lemon foam gave us that achy feeling. My face kinda cramped when I dared myself to eat a big mouthful of it.

How reluctant we were to get out lazy asses up from the couches, we couldn't. Nevertheless, it wasn't a night that I can't forget, it's him that I never will forget. Without him, I'll never have all these beautiful memories.
