Yesterday was my siz's 17th birthday. From the day I bought her gift, I was so excited for 1st Apr to arrive that it seems like I was the birthday girl. I was too excited in fact that I find the days passing slower than usual. When the day finally arrives, I wrapped up her gift & made a card for her. Shameless me is proud to say I made the flower from scratch. Alright, I admit making the flower was a feat but still, the appearance is worth a brag right?

Why do I say it was a surprise gift? Of course it wasn't a surprise that she's bet to get a gift from us but the surprise lies in the gift itself. Since months ago, she was under the deception that we're going to get her the Naked Palette 2 hence when she saw it was the VS make up kit we bought for her, she loves it to core as you can see how comprehensive the make up kit is as compared to the Naked Palette.
Her appreciation even went down to the glittery cover.
Our family's tradition: birthday cake.
Hers was the raspberry chocolate moouse cake which only my bro had a slice as we were all too full from the home-made western food and the twelve cupcakes my siz's friend got for her.
And yes, it was Lavigne's birthday too. She was unusually obedient during the cake cutting session, perhaps she knew it was her birthday we were celebrating too.
Siz, you know family is the dearest people I hold closest to my heart. All the heartfelt words that I want to say to you are already penned down in the card. Just know that you've my word when I say you'll always have my back.
