Happy Fathers' Day
I'm very stingy when it comes to spending money on myself. I mean aside from the necessary replenishing of skincare products and the weekly food dates with Redbull, I save every bit of money that I can. But when it comes to my parents, needless to say I see no need to save on the presents as what have they asked for in return for all the years of money spent on us? Nothing.
My dad, being an independant welder, unlike those who work in the MNCs and offices, has to brave through long hours of heat & standings, notwithstanding inhaling in the poisonous gases emitted from the welding works. Such gases are so poisonous that the recent haze which shot up to PSI 400 was a feat to him. True hardship that he goes through for us, for this family.
I've seen a drop in weight in him, which I wonder whether it's due to his "cut down on carbo" diet or age & fatigue catching up on him. Hoping it's the former.
He deserves more, more than this uSofa which we got for him on Fathers' Day, but this is the best that we could do, for now. Promise to do more for you, just like how you always do, for us.
