Wang Dae Bak. Ostrich Meat. Mooncakes

Redbull was craving for Korean BBQ last week. Instead of heading to our usual (ok, not exactly our usual hideout dinner place, but it's the only korean dining place we've been to twice) Manbok Galbi
, I suggested a change of our pig-out place. Did some reading ups on Korean BBQ and I settled for Wang Dae Bak, reason being it has the most tempting photos posted by people who patronized the place.
Btw, Redbull's sister joined us too!
More crowd = more food.
Janice said they serve different side dishes every time but that night, they didn't serve my favorite glass noodle. WELL, not too depressing as my 2nd favorite fish cakes were there.
Didn't snap many photos of the food but here's what we had:
Pork belly - $20
Spicy marinated chicken - $18
Herb wine pork belly which has gotta be my favorite - $22
Seafood tofu soup - $16/18
Seafood pancake which is so humongous the 3 of us only had half of that - $16/18
And the next day, I had teppanyaki at JB after my monthly facial appointment with Heroine & Janice.
It was my first time chewing on ostrich meat (don't know if it's authentic though) and I like the pig liver taste it has for the first few chews.
This big portion is priced at only RM30.90
Chanced upon the mooncakes booths while we were going to buy the vitamin C pills for Lavigne and we ended up spending 2-3 hours in the mall. From now on, we're going to buy mooncakes in Malaysia because we get to save 50% for every single mooncake! Only downside is that most of the booths don't allow tasting unlike the ones in SG. But well, fortunate us bought all our mooncakes at booths that do provide tasting.
Now, I can't wait for Mid-autumn Festival to arrive!
Counting down to 19 Sep 2013.
