SG's founding father

I'm not a politics analyst, I'm nowhere near a veteran when it involves politics. But there are many things that can be understood without having to know a wee bit about politics.

I understand & I'm gratified for the things Mr Lee has done for us, the Singaporeans. People around me complain endlessly about Singapore, about the way some schemes are imposed, about the strict regulations, about how the rulers rule, etc. Why are you so blinded by your dissatisfaction that you totally disregard the goodness of this country? You contempt Mr Lee, for whatever reason you can come up with, yet here you are utilizing the government subsidies, enjoying the safety, allowing your children to submerge in one of the best education systems, witnessing the different races living in harmony.

For the 100 things he has done for us, for the 100 plans he has planned & executed, you fixed your mind on that 1 thing he has done which you can't agree with. Can you serve the country better than he did? Could you have been able to lead us into an independent country? Could you have been able to clamp down on security successfully? Could you have held on to your strong belief of equality in races despite voices of opposition? Could you really have done better?
A bunch of discontented people with inflated non-existent capability, you think you'll make a better Singapore.

If a tinge of gratitude still exists somewhere within you, at least respect the founding father by not mouthing even an immature comment of his passing. Don't bite the hand that feeds you.
