23 June 1963 is a day that determined my fate and destiny, the day when my mother was born. I believe in destiny, just like I believe in love, both of which I've learned to believe because of her. In every possible way, she shaped me into the person I am today. For us, her children, she has been through far more than we could ever imagined, made sacrifices that she wouldn't have to make if she didn't have us. Never will I trade her in for anything because I know nothing fills my heart and soul like her presence in my life does.

A simple dinner at Din Tai Fung on Saturday with just the four of us. 

She's a cake lover, especially those smeared with lots of fresh cream.

Her happiness and health weigh more than mine. Please God, bless her with everything that she deserves. 

You've worked so hard for us for half your life, I promise that soon, I'll try all my best to provide for you because it's time you take a well deserved break.
